Architect of Gutter Tech
Go Freek (Caleb Crinis) is the creator of “Gutter Tech,” an Australian electronic project that merges tech house, ghetto tech, and old-school electro. What started in the Sydney club scene has grown into a major international export. Today, the project reaches 939,000 monthly Spotify listeners and has clocked over 122 million catalog streams globally.
The project gained early momentum in 2012 playing major Australian events like Parklife, Future Music Festival, and Stereosonic. Then came the 2015 release of “Define,” a collaboration with Dom Dolla that shifted everything. The track hit #1 on the ARIA Club Chart and stayed there for nine straight weeks. It later earned an ARIA Gold Certification in 2023, soundtracked the main nightclub scene in the Warner Bros. movie We Are Your Friends, and recently crossed the 100 million stream mark on Spotify alone.
That studio success quickly turned into a heavy touring schedule. Go Freek has played international stages including EDC Las Vegas, two years at Beyond Wonderland SoCal, and Seattle's Paradiso Festival. More recently, the 2025 calendar included MK support slots in Sydney and Melbourne, alongside festival plays at Darwin's Electric Storm and Auckland's Parklands.
The Go Freek discography features releases and official remixes across labels like Sweat It Out, mau5trap, Solotoko, and Insomniac Records. The sound has picked up consistent support from artists like Diplo, FISHER, CamelPhat, Porter Robinson, and Claude VonStroke. Over a decade into the project, Caleb continues to refine the Gutter Tech sound and build on one of the most reliable catalogs in Australian dance music.
